Terms of Service

These terms explain what you can expect from WPRO and what we ask of you. They are written to be clear rather than clever. WPRO is a WordPress maintenance service provided by iConcept, a web agency in Riga, Latvia (EU). Contact: [email protected].

The maintenance plan

Our maintenance plan is £49 per month and includes: WordPress core, plugin and theme updates; security scanning and firewall configuration; daily off-site backups; uptime monitoring; small content fixes of up to one hour per month (for example text changes, image swaps); and a monthly report of the work done.

The plan runs month to month with no fixed term. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid month. There is no cancellation fee.

What "small fixes" means

Small fixes are minor content changes that take up to one hour in total per month. Larger work, such as new sections, integrations, redesigns or bespoke development, sits outside the plan. We will always quote and agree the price for larger work before starting it.

Response times

Our stated response times (for example "typically within the hour on business days") are targets we aim for, not guarantees. We work Latvian business hours, which run two hours ahead of UK time. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as hosting outages or third-party service failures.

Free audit and diagnosis

Our initial site audit and, for urgent requests, our diagnosis are provided free of charge and with no obligation to proceed.

Urgent work and "no fix, no fee"

For urgent, one-off work (for example a hacked or broken site) we diagnose the problem free of charge and give you a fixed quote before we touch anything. Work only begins once you approve that quote.

"No fix, no fee" means: if we take on the specific problem we quoted for and are unable to resolve it, you do not pay for that work. It applies to the issue we agreed to fix, not to unrelated or pre-existing problems we may find along the way, which we would quote separately.

Access and your responsibilities

To work on your site we need access, which we ask you to share through a secure one-time link rather than by email. Please do not send passwords through the contact form. You confirm that you are entitled to grant us access to the website and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Backups and data

We take daily off-site backups so we can restore your site if something goes wrong. Backups greatly reduce risk but no backup system can guarantee against all data loss. We will always act with reasonable care and skill.

Liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for issues that existed before we began work, for the acts of third parties (such as hosting providers or plugin developers), or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Prices and VAT

Prices are stated exclusive of VAT. VAT is applied where required by law. For business customers outside Latvia, VAT may be handled under reverse-charge rules; your invoice will show the correct treatment for your situation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
